ARTBACK NT’S EXECUTIVE OFFICER STEPS DOWN
After 14 years at the helm of Artback NT, Executive Officer Louise Partos is moving on. While the timing may come as a surprise to some, she believes that now is the perfect time to step down and for a new Executive Officer to lead the organisation into the future, given Artback NT’s recent inclusion into the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework (NPAPF).
‘Artback NT has been an amazing experience and I have learnt so much. So many wonderful activities, moments and relationships I will treasure for the rest of my life,’ Partos said.
She will move to the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) in September as Assistant Director, Content and Innovation, and will, in part, be responsible for delivering the new State Square art gallery in Darwin’s CBD.
Dr Denise Salvestro, Chair of the Artback NT Board, said in a statement: ‘The Artback NT Board were saddened to receive Louise’s resignation but appreciate the reasons for her decision to move on and wish her well in her future endeavours.
