By now, everyone is looking forward to Election Day. I think we’re all tired of the political mudslinging that constantly airs on television and radio. In just a few days, when the election results are in, roughly half of the population will be ecstatic. And the other half won’t be.
I appreciate the voter guide put out by the League of Women Voters of Oakland Area. There are certainly many elections that won’t make national headlines, but are very important to local communities. Like many, I only have in-depth political discussion with a handful of friends. So it’s good to have access to opinions that may or not coincide with your own.
When clients gravitate toward a political discussion, I tell them not to look at me as red or blue. My goal is simply to keep them in the green. I will share that I’m fiscally conservative and one of my major financial concerns is our national debt.
