ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is getting some national recognition.
The market recently snagged the No. 5 spot in a list of the 10 best farmers markets in the nation as part of the USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
“I think it’s a really great thing because it recognizes that we have a lot of community support for our great vendors and that people really honor this market as a part of our vibrant community here in Ann Arbor and in Washtenaw County,” Market Manager Stefanie Stauffer said.

The list was made from nominations from an expert panel that were then voted on by readers in the United Sates. Worthington Farmers Market in Worthington, Ohio took home the No. 1 spot.
The Ann Arbor Farmers Market, 315 Detroit St., has been around for 105 years and features over 100 vendors selling products like fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread, cheese, meat, flowers, jewelry, candles and more. The market is open on Saturdays all year long, and also on Wednesdays from May to December.
