Nebraska volleyball sophomores Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson helped the United States U21 team to a gold medal at the NORCECA U21 Continental Championship on Sunday in Toronto, Canada.
The Americans swept Puerto Rico 25-12, 25-16, 25-16 in the championship to finish 5-0 and perfect in sets.
The Reilly to Jackson connection was strong Sunday — Jackson racked up nine kills as Reilly set the U.S. to a .464 hitting percentage.
Nebraska 2025 commits Teraya Sigler and Campbell Flynn also played on the team. Husker assistant coach Jaylen Reyes was a member of the coaching staff, too.
Meanwhile, in the Dominican Republic, three Huskers suffered a five-set loss in the NORCECA Final Six championship match Sunday.
