In Florida, there’s no shortage of real estate agents.
In fact, the state has more of them than any other in the nation.
That’s according to the National Association of Realtors. The association’s last report from early 2024 showed more than 220,000 real estate agents in Florida as members (giving them the official title of Realtor, in exchange for joining and following the trade group’s Code of Ethics).
For perspective, California came in second, with about 195,000 members.
There are thousands of licensed real estate companies in Florida. So, competition is fierce. With so many agents and companies in the state, choosing the right one can be a daunting task.
USA Today, the USA TODAY Network Florida and market research firm Statista collaborated to create their first-ever list of Florida’s 500 top-performing real estate offices in the searchable list below. “Florida’s Best Real Estate Agencies 2024” appear in alphabetical, not ranked order. The partnership also produced a list of Tennessee’s top 300 real-estate offices.
The lists are based on Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data, with a focus on these key areas:
- Revenue: Total revenue generated in 2023 and average revenue over the past three years.
- Price performance: Ratio of the final sales price to the original listing price.
- Sales volume: Total number of properties sold each year, as well as the average number of sales per agent.
