The Premier League is back this weekend, with the international break coming to a close and the world’s top league resuming with a full slate of 10 matches.
The most enticing fixture on the list sees league-leading Liverpool host fourth-place Chelsea on Sunday. The Reds have made a superb start under new manager Arne Slot, who replaced Jürgen Klopp this summer. Liverpool has only conceded two goals in league play this season but will face a major test in shutting down a Chelsea attack featuring Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and Nicolas Jackson as major goal threats.
Elsewhere, Manchester City will expect a win against bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton Wanderers; Manchester United and under-fire manager Erik ten Hag face a tricky away day against Brentford; and Arsenal will have to solve AFC Bournemouth to keep pace in the race for the title.
