Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed he wants to sign defender Cameron Carter-Vickers from Spurs on a permanent deal.
The Hoops gaffer sees the £6 million-rated centre-back as a key part of what he’s trying to build at Parkhead.
And he hasn’t ruled out securing him on a long-term contract in the January transfer window.
Carter-Vickers joined the club on deadline day last summer and has been one of Postecoglou’s best signings so far.
Now, the Aussie is keen to make the USA international a permanent fixture at Celtic.
When asked if he wants to keep Carter-Vickers, Postecoglou said: “Absolutely. I wouldn’t have brought him in if I thought it was just a short-term thing.
“All the players we have brought in, we have done so with some thought around building a team.
