In a major win for Australian hoops fans, ESPN Australia will broadcast all 10 exhibition games from the pre-Olympic bubble in Las Vegas.
That includes all Boomers games, one Opals game, and five Team USA games.
The Boomers will play four matches in the exhibition tournament to perfect their Olympic preparations, facing Argentina, Nigeria, and the USA twice.
The Boomers will have a strong squad at their disposal for the tournament, including NBA stars Patty Mills, Joe Ingles, Matthew Dellavedova, Aron Baynes, Dante Exum and Matisse Thybulle.
Australia’s toughest test will come against a formidable Team USA line-up, including Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Jayson Tatum, Draymond Green, Jrue Holliday and Bam Adebayo.
Brooklyn Nets superstar Durant, who possesses an undefeated 39-0 career USA record winning rate, will be the Boomers’ biggest threat.
The Australian Opals will also feature in one match of the tournament, a high-profile affair against the world No.1 Team USA, who is chasing its seventh consecutive gold medal.
ESPN’s coverage begins on Sunday, July 11, with a massive double-header of international basketball.
