Greater St Louis: In a suspected case of hate crime, an Indian national has been shot dead in the US state of Missouri, and the police have detained a local resident in connection with the killing.
As per reports, the deceased, identified as 32-year-old Sharif Rahman Khan, was a software engineer from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. Last Wednesday, Khan was found with bullet injuries at a University City apartment in St Louis, Missouri. He was dashed to a hospital, where he succumbed during treatment.
