The U.S. roster for 2024 Skate America, taking place Oct. 18-20 in Allen, Texas, is now complete as the final athletes have been named to the lineup in each discipline.
Elyce Lin-Gracey completes the women’s lineup while Lucas Broussard was added in the men’s event. Katie McBeath and Daniil Parkman as well as Isabella Flores and Ivan Desyatov will also skate in the pairs and ice dance events, respectively. All are making their Skate America debut.
The 2023 U.S. junior bronze medalist, Lin-Gracey will make her Grand Prix debut. A medalist in the Junior Grand Prix Series in 2023, Lin-Gracey started her season at 2024 Cranberry Cup International with the silver medal.
Broussard, now in his second season as a senior, also stood on the podium at Cranberry Cup, clinching the gold. Last season, he competed at his first Grand Prix, Cup of China, and finished 12th.
Skating in their second season together, McBeath and Parkman will be competing in just their second international event as a team at Skate America. They placed fifth at their first international competition earlier this season, the 2024 John Nicks Pairs Challenge International.
Although they are making their Grand Prix debut, Flores and Desyatov have already medaled at two international events, 2023 Golden Spin of Zagreb and 2024 Egna Dance Trophy, earning bronze and silver, respectively.
