The official statement from the Colombian Football Federation states: “The coaching staff of the Colombia Under 23 team is allowed to communicate that Atlanta United (USA) player Edwin Stiven Mosquera will not be able to continue in the call-up, due to a muscle injury that prevents him from being in full fitness.
Coach Héctor Cárdenas, his coaching staff and the group of players wish Edwin Stiven Mosquera a speedy recovery, hoping that in the next opportunity he can make part of the Colombia Under 23 team again.”
