Hyderabad: Sloan Stefankis and Jake Klentner were hard to stop as they powered USA-1 team to a convincing 15-8 win over India-2 in the final of the HPRC International Arena Polo Championship at the Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club in Moinabad on Monday.The visiting USA-1 team took a 3-2 lead in the first chukker and doubled the lead to 12-6 by the end of the second. They added three more in the final chukker to seal the trophy.For the winners, Sloan Stefankis and Jake Klentner scored seven goals each while Megan Flynn scored the other goal. Six of Stefankis’ goals came in the second chukker while Klentner scored three each in the first and second chukkers. For India, Kaushik Kumar scored five goals while Yusuf Azmi scored thrice to reduce the margin. Results (final): USA-1 15 (Sloan Stefankis 7, Jake Klentner 7, Megan Flynn 1) bt India Team-2 8 (Kaushik Kumar 5, Yusuf Azmi 3).
