The United States Men’s National Soccer Team hosts Venezuela in an international friendly on Saturday, January 18 (1/18/2025) at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. But the American’s will be missing several key members due to a variety of concerns, including Forward Jesus Ferreira.

Defenders Jalen Neal and John Tolkin also left training camp this week, and will not take the field Saturday. But former Aston Villa forward Indiana Vassilev was picked for training camp, and is among the players who could make their debut for the USA on Saturday.
The game, and the subsequent friendly against Costa Rica on Jan. 22, will also be missing all Europe-based players, since the matches are not on FIFA international fixture dates. Europe-based USA players will return for the CONCACAF Nations League semifinal match against Panama on March 20.
