Olympic champion and world record-holder Dalilah Muhammad highlights a star-studded field of U.S. and international athletes scheduled to compete at the USATF Sprint Summit in Prairie View, Texas on April 3, the first stop on the USATF Journey to Gold-Tokyo Outdoor Series.

Muhammad (Bayside, New York), who smashed the world record in the women’s 400m hurdles twice in 2019 and picked up a world title to go with her gold from Rio 2016, will lead a strong field in the flat 400m, where she sports a lifetime best of 50.60.
Three-time World Championships 4x400m relay gold medalist Jessica Beard (Euclid, Ohio) has a PR of 50.08, and she will be joined in challenging Muhammad by Jamaica’s Chrisann Gordon-Powell, who picked up world gold in the long relay in 2015 and was a silver medalist in the 4x400m at Rio. Raevyn Rogers (Houston, Texas), the silver medalist in the 800m at the 2019 Worlds, will drop down in distance to try and better her PR of 52.06, and 2017 world 400m hurdles champion Kori Carter (Claremont, California) is also an intriguing entrant.
Doubling up in the 200m, Muhammad will have her hands full with Gabby Thomas (Florence, Massachusetts), the fastest woman in the world this year with her 22.17…
