A typical Washington County home listed for $762,500 in May, up 0.2% from a month earlier, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows.
The median list home price in May was up about 15.7% from May 2021. Washington County’s median home was 2,460 square feet for a listed price of $321 per square foot.
The Washington County market was busy, with the median home on the market for just 22 days before selling. A month earlier, homes had a median of 25 days on market. The market added 764 new home listings in May, compared with the 484 added in May of 2021. The market ended the month with some 870 listings of homes for sale.

Iron County home prices drop 8% to $450,000
Iron County’s home prices fell 8%, to a median $450,000, from a month earlier. The typical house was on the market for 29 days, from 23 days a month earlier. The typical 1,827-square-foot house had a list price of $231 per square foot.
Across all of Utah, median home prices were $650,000, similar to the previous month. The median Utah home for sale had 2,522 square feet at list price of $264 per square foot.
Across the United States, median home prices were $446,950, up 5.2% from a month earlier. The median American home for sale had 1,861 square feet, listed at $226 per square foot.
