Multiple locations in Upstate New York were among the hottest real estate markets in the U.S. in April, including one spot that made the top five, according to data from the National Association of Realtors.
The 14626 ZIP code located outside Rochester in the town of Greece was the hottest New York location for real estate in April, according to the association’s data. The ZIP code was No. 5 nationwide in monthly hotness rankings on the association’s website.
The association ranked over 11,000 ZIP codes for hotness nationwide in April.
Most of the hottest real estate markets in New York were found in Upstate New York in April, according to the association’s data. Just five ZIP codes among the top 25 were located downstate.
A total of six ZIP codes in the state were among the top 50 in the U.S. last month. Along with 14626 in Rochester, they included 14534 in Pittsford, 14609 in Rochester, 14616 in Greece, 13850 in Vestal and 14606 in Rochester.
In Syracuse, the hottest ZIP code was 13208, which includes Salina and the city’s North Side. Nationwide, it was No. 2,789.
