Tax Advisory Group (TAG), a Dallas-based property tax consulting firm, has hired Zeb Hardy as its chief technology officer.
Hardy, who brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience, will be tasked with overseeing a technology transformation at TAG over the next few years. He has deep expertise leading teams in bringing new software products to market and transforming legacy products and systems for the cloud environment.
Hardy joins TAG from Trilogy, a comprehensive business platform for software firms, where he spent over two years as product CTO of the DevFactory unit. His responsibilities included defining technical roadmaps and design principles for a range of products.
Before that he spent nearly two years at WolfePak Software (now PakEnergy), a business automation software product for the oil and gas industry, where he was CTO. Hardy also previously served as director of software development at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, where he led development of the firm’s flagship tax application.
Earlier in his career, Hardy was a senior consultant at Sogeti USA and a technical consultant at IBM.
He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of North Texas.
