You can experience BLINK in a unique way this fall while riding along a BB Riverboat.BLINK, the nation’s largest light, art, and projection mapping experience, is returning to Cincinnati this fall. Video above: Looking back at 2019 BLINK festivalThere have been two widely popular BLINK festivals, so far — the last in 2019. Spanning more than 30 city blocks, Blink includes hundreds of art installations – the largest light, art and culture event of its kind in the nation.So, what is BLINK exactly? It’s an outdoor art phenomenon with 100 installations, including large-scale projection mappings, murals and interactive light sculptures and art. The city will literally be glowing — from luminous facades to twinkling alleyways. BB Riverboats is offering a unique way to view the festival as you cruise down the downtown riverfront.The cruise will offer drink specials, live music from one of their house bands and a front-row seat for the festival. The cruise runs until Oct. 14 with boarding starting at 6 p.m. for the first ride and 8:30 p.m. for the second.Tickets are $35 for adults and $26 for children. The inaugural four-night BLINK event in 2017 saw the largest gathering of people ever in downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine. Organizers recruit local, national and international artists to partake in the massive citywide extravaganza.This year’s event will return under new leadership.
