Taking co-ordination to the next level, now it’s a trend statement to match your mask to your makeup.
TikTok is once again behind the emerging beauty trend, and it’s as fun as it sounds. Masks are dull and annoying at the best of times – lets face it – but they’re essential and there’s no harm in finding some enjoyment in them. Enter: makeup.
YouTuber Makeup by Tammi, who’s collaborated with the likes of Makeup Revolution, has started a new “Face Mask Series” on her TikTok channel. In her first video, she shows an array of colourful masks she has – so there will be plenty of installments coming with varied looks.
To kick off the series, she went for an animal print mask and matched her eye makeup to it using cleverly positioned liner that’s super on-trend and editorial.
First she used red and orange eyeshadow on her lid, then using a mix of orange, yellow and black pigments, she creates a tiger print in a thick floating line above her crease using intricate strokes.
It’s impressive to say the least.
In her next post she showed the look again, plus a sneak peak of another matched eye look while thanking her fans for sharing lots of love over the new series.
