A Nottinghamshire woman has won her way into the final of one of the UK’s most prestigious beauty pageants.
Chloe-Rose Adkin, 20, from Mansfield, will take part in the final of Miss Galaxy – UK 2021 in November.
She won the title of Miss Nottingham Galaxy in November 2020 which has led her to the grand final in November with girls from all over the country.
Chloe said: “I am honoured to be returning to the UK Galaxy stage for the second year running as Miss Nottingham Galaxy after placing 1st Runner-Up in the 2020 finals.
“Covid has made this year’s preparations difficult. I have still managed to support my local community and raise £1,383 so far this year for my chosen charity The British Heart Foundation and UK Galaxy Pageant’s chosen charity The Christie.”
Chloe, who works as a teaching assistant at a primary school in Rainworth, has secured a host of achievements since she started competing in 2015 and says she loves the variety of challenges the competitions bring.
“I love pageantry for so many different reasons,” she explained, “mainly because it has enabled me to raise over £5000 for a range of charity organisations. It’s also provided me with opportunities to support my local community by attending events and dedicating my time to help.
