Loki star Sophia Di Martino doesn’t know what the future holds for her character Sylvie, especially when it comes to a potential spin-off. Marvel’s biggest Disney+ series so far is halfway through its 6-episiode run, and there is still plenty of mischief ahead. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has been roped into working alongside the Time Variance Authority, aka the TVA, to catch a murderous alternate version of himself. However, as Loki episode 3 revealed, this Variant perhaps isn’t such a bad guy after all.
Di Martino’s character was kept a secret during the lead-up to Loki, but it has since been confirmed she’s the Variant Loki who now goes by the name Sylvie. Episode 3, “Lamentis,” provided Di Martino with her best showcase yet on the show, as Sylvie and Loki found themselves stranded on the titular moon in the midst of its destruction. There’s still much about Sylvie to be discovered, from her true origins to why she wants to destroy the TVA. As Loki continues, audiences will surely learn more, including where she might go in the future.
