Jana Kramer is ready to talk about the depths of her ex-husband Mike Caussin‘s infidelity.
The singer, 38, appears on Facebook Watch’s “Red Table Talk” Wednesday where she discussed her April 2021 divorce, the lead-up caused by Caussin’s cheating, and co-parenting their daughter Jolie, 6, and son Jace, 3.
“Over time you found out he cheated with 13 women?” co-host Jada Pinkett Smith asks in an exclusive preview clip obtained by USA TODAY Tuesday. In response, Kramer reveals it was “more.”
“I know we’re both in better situations, but I think about this year my kids won’t wake up in my house Christmas day,” she says, choking back tears. “That one’s gonna hurt.”
Earlier in the episode, Kramer shares, “I came from a broken family and my whole thing was, I do not want to grow up in a broken house. I hated Christmas because I have to separate Christmas and that was stressful. I want my kids under one roof and the thought of another woman raising my child was like, ‘It ain’t gonna happen.’ “
Pinkett Smith empathizes with Kramer and says, “That’s a hard one when you’re familial dreams coincide with childhood trauma.”
“And that’s when I get like, ‘That’s not fair. You took away my dream, too, of what I wanted for my family,’ ” the “One Tree Hill” alum adds.
