In 2017, series wrier Audrey Wauchope came forward with allegations of sexual harassment against One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn. Cast members including Bush, Burton, and Lenz soon penned an open letter supporting Wauchope and condemning Schwahn for his actions during the show’s run.
