Q: Does the return of Patrick Peterson put the Vikings in good shape for CBs? Are they all set?
A: Yes, it puts the team in pretty damn good shape — for fielding a group of starting corners in September.
Now, they can lob a cherry on top of the thing by drafting a CB in 1st or 2nd Round of the NFL Draft. Then, the Vikings, in theory, should be set for the short-term — and long-term — per cornerback outlook.
Remember this, though. With injuries and such, Minnesota probably requires one more sturdy starting cornerback for September to be considered a real contender.
