New details have emerged about Zachery Ty Bryan‘s domestic violence arrest, with reports revealing that he allegedly punched a woman several times and threatened to kill her.
Bryan, best known for his role as Brad Taylor on the famed sitcom “Home Improvement,” began 2025 in the worst way possible after he was arrested on charges of second-degree domestic violence in South Carolina.
The actor’s recent run-in with the law is his third legal trouble in 18 months after his previous arrests in July 2023 and February 2024 for domestic violence and DUI charges, respectively.
Zachery Ty Bryan Allegedly Assaulted A Woman And Threatened To Kill Her
According to reports from TMZ, Bryan punched a woman multiple times and threatened to kill her before he was arrested.
The incident report stated that officers responded to a call just before 7 p.m. on January 1 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
After arriving at the scene, the officers spoke to the woman, who told them Bryan punched her several times on the left side of her face.
The woman also claimed that Bryan choked her by putting his arm around her neck. His actions restricted her airflow and made her fear for her life.
The unnamed woman also alleged that Bryan said he would kill her.
The officers mentioned in the incident report that her injuries were consistent with her story. They also stated that she shares a child with Bryan.
