It’s normal for kids to struggle with focus, but when a child has ADHD—also known as Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder—focusing on non-preferred tasks can feel like an impossible feat.
From challenges with impulse control to acting without thinking or being dubbed the “spacy” kid in class, if left unaddressed, these struggles can grow to be more pervasive as a child gets older.
While treatment for ADHD is individual and should always be taken under the advisement of a trained professional, many parents who have been in the “trenches” have come to rely on specific products to help their kids hone executive functioning and self-regulation skills, helping to infuse their days with greater control and calm.
We spoke with a group of 20 parents of children with ADHD to learn what ADHD organization tools have helped their children to grow and succeed.
