New businesses and non-profit organizations open regularly and move in Saskatoon. Today, the StarPhoenix talks to Janelle Daku who officially opened Family Foundations Therapy in Saskatoon on March 1.
A few months after Daku had her first daughter, she ran into very challenging postpartum depression issues and found great difficulty getting help. When she finally found the help she needed, she felt things shouldn’t be as difficult as they were. She came to realize that her hard-won insights combined with her background in occupational therapy put her in a unique position to make sure others could receive the help they needed when facing similar situations.
