Fox News didn’t take long filling the “Fox & Friends Weekend” slot just vacated by Jedediah Bila.
On Monday, Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott named Rachel Campos-Duffy co-host of the weekend edition of the network’s morning franchise. She will make her first appearance, joining co-hosts Pete Hegseth and Will Cain, on June 12 (6 a.m. EDT/3 a.m. PDT). Campos-Duffy will become the only Hispanic woman to co-host a cable news morning show, according to Fox.
“The ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ team is amazing and I look forward to hosting alongside my friends, Pete and Will every Saturday and Sunday,” Campos-Duffy said in a statement. “I am confident we’ll continue to deliver the number one-rated cable news morning show in America.”
Bila, who held the post for two years, announced she was leaving Friday on Twitter, thanking colleagues and viewers and adding she was “really excited for what’s to come.” In a statement, Fox said it had “mutually and amicably parted ways” with Bila.
Campos-Duffy, 49, the mother of nine children, will continue to host “Moms” on Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service. On Friday, she will begin hosting “From the Kitchen Table,” a Fox News Audio podcast, with her husband, network contributor and former Wisconsin Republican Congressman Sean Duffy.
