The Columbus Dispatch is partnering with Spectrum News to host a forum on Issue 2 – the recreational marijuana issue on the Nov. 7 ballot.
The forum will be before a live audience at Otterbein University on Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 7 p.m. You can request tickets for the event and ask your questions at https://forms.gle/CmSZM8BwMaynP7457
The forum will air Oct. 8 on Spectrum News and later on The Columbus Dispatch website.

If passed, Issue 2 would:
- Allow Ohioans age 21 and older to buy and possess 2.5 ounces of cannabis and 15 grams of concentrates.
- Allow Ohioans age 21 and older to grow up to six plants individually and no more than 12 in a household with multiple adults.
- Tax products 10%, with revenue going toward administrative costs, addiction treatment programs, municipalities with dispensaries and a social equity and jobs program.
The hour-long forum will be moderated by Spectrum News anchor Curtis Jackson.
Panelists are Issue 2 supporters, state Rep. Casey Weinstein, D-Hudson, and Thomas Haren, partner and cannabis practice chair at Frantz Ward LLP, and Issue 2 opponents, state Sen. Mark Romanchuk, R-Ontario, and Corinne LaMarca, director of development and national spokesperson for Parents Opposed To Pot.
