The Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens go into their big Week 11 “Thursday Night Football” showdown each having been on the wrong end of walk-off game-winning field goals in Week 10.
Last week, the Bengals were defeated by the upstart Houston Texans, who behind precocious rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud pulled off a 30-27 win in Cincinnati, dropping the Bengals to 5-4. The Ravens, meanwhile, were up 17-6 early in the second quarter, 24-9 early in the third quarter and 31-17 early in the fourth quarter, yet shockingly were defeated, 33-31, by the Cleveland Browns. Those setbacks accounted for two of a record six games decided by a game-winning field goal as time expired in Week 10.
Despite last week’s disappointing setback, the Ravens (7-3) still reside atop the AFC North and can further distance themselves from a key challenger Thursday night.
