There’s one more matchup left before the NFL’s trade deadline on Tuesday: The “Monday Night Football” meeting between the Las Vegas Raiders and Detroit Lions.
The Raiders are looking to claw their way to .500 after last week’s 30-12 setback against the Chicago Bears. But the Lions are also trying to get right after a 38-6 collapse against the Baltimore Ravens. The game will put the spotlight of two of the NFL’s most formidable pass rushers — the Raiders’ Maxx Crosby and the Lions’ Aidan Hutchinson — as well as two of its top receivers in the Raiders’ Davante Adams and Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is questionable with an illness.

The Raiders defense forced their sixth takeaway of the year when Lions wide receiver Craig Reynolds had the football stripped from him following a 13-yard reception. Raiders linebacker Luke Masterson was credited for the forced fumble and recovery at Detroit’s 28-yard line.
On the very next play, Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw an ill-advised pass in the end zone that was picked off Lions safety Kerby Joseph.
