This week’s edition of “Thursday Night Football” takes us to the NFC North for a game that could tilt the balance of power in the division.
The Detroit Lions travel to Lambeau Field to meet with the Green Bay Packers, with both teams having a share of the division lead at 2-1. If Jared Goff and Co. can manage to win on the road, the franchise will be off to its best start since 2017. Green Bay, however, has reason to be confident after erasing a 17-point deficit to beat the New Orleans Saints last week. And at least a couple of key offensive contributors in running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson are set to return for the Packers.
Detroit has won the last three meetings between the two teams, including the Week 18 contest last year that eliminated Green Bay from playoff contention.
