The No. 1 Vols (39-9) rose to the top spot for the first time this season, replacing Texas A&M from the last poll update. Tennessee went 2-1 against Florida last weekend, going 1-1 in a doubleheader on Friday before run-ruling the Gators 16-3 on Saturday.
Vanderbilt, formerly ranked No. 13, fell out of the rankings on Monday after being swept by now-No. 12 Georgia, which included two run-rules on Friday (10-0) and Saturday (14-4).
The Bulldogs made the highest jump in the rankings after sweeping the Commodores, moving up from No. 18 in the previous release. The six-spot increase was tied by fellow SEC program Mississippi State, who rose from No. 21 to No. 15 after going 2-1 against Alabama over the weekend, which included a 13-3 run-rule win on Friday.
