The 12 international games being contested at the USA Lacrosse Experience will be streamed live on the USA Lacrosse YouTube channel beginning Friday morning. The U.S. men’s and women’s national sixes training teams will compete against national teams from Colombia, Great Britain and Puerto Rico at the two-day event in Indianapolis.
All games are being played at Carroll Field on the campus of Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI). Tickets are still available starting at just $15 per day.
The international competition will use the sixes discipline of lacrosse that will be utilized when the sport returns to the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028. Sixes is a fast-paced version of the sport played on a smaller field (70 x 36 meters), with fewer players (6 v 6), a condensed game length (four 8-minute quarters) and a 30-second shot clock. This is the first international competition for the U.S. sixes program since the Olympic announcement last year.
Calling the action on the streams will be Glenn Clark on play-by-play and Mitch Belisle as the color analyst. Clark is a Baltimore-based journalist who has called several USA Lacrosse national team events in the past and is a play-by-play voice for Loyola University and Stevenson University. Belisle is a past U.S. national team player who had enjoyed success as a professional player in both Major League Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse League.
